| Description: |
| If you're a fan
of the show True Blood you'll be
familiar with Merlotte's, the
popular hang-out for the
residents of Bon Temps,
Louisiana. What appears to be
just a simple, redneck bar in
the heart of the deep South
lurks an entire world of
supernatural creatures. The set from the show has been recreated
including Sam Merlotte's (the
owner) trailer behind the bar.
After many hours of study I'm
fairly confident the layout is
extremely close. One of the most
striking aspects of the interior
is the high wooden ceiling which
I tried to accomplish with a
roof recolor. The set is very
detailed and full of clutter
which I attempted to add without
making the custom content list a
mile long. While it isn't a
perfect replica and I deviated
due to limitations of the game
and my own abilities, overall
I'm satisfied with the result.
The bar includes kitchen,
rest rooms, owner's office, pool
room, and porch; the trailer
includes one bedroom, one bath,
kitchen and living room. |
